9 days Uganda (Rwanda) Gorilla Chimpanzee tracking safari

This safari starts from Kampala/ Entebbe to Lake Victoria and then visiting the mountain gorillas in Uganda or Rwanda and game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Top or local hotels and lodges are used throughout, and transport is by customized 4x4 vehicles. All meals on safari are provided, bed and breakfast only in Entebbe/ Kampala.

Day 1: Entebbe - Lake Victoria
You will be picked up on arrival at Entebbe Airport and transferred to the Lake Victoria Hotel for dinner and overnight When you arrival is in the morning hours you can be treated to an excursion where you will visit the Gambia Island a Chimpanzee sanctuary. Alternatively you can also have this excursion after the tour. its either way. The island is home to orphaned and rescued chimps for
photographers you have a great chance to do your thing.

Day 2: Entebbe - Lake Mburo
After an early breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo. On you way you will pass by the Equator and have
a chance to pose for a photo to actually show you really crossed the Equator. You will be arriving
to Lake Mburo Tented camp for early lunch. You will be at this camp on full board basis. After
enjoying you lunch and short leisure you can have an afternoon game dive and walk.

Days 3 and 4: Lake Mburo- Bwindi National Park/Volcanoes National Park
After your early breakfast we drive to either the Volcanoes uganda_gorllia_safariNational Park in Rwanda or Bwindi
National Park whichever we obtain gorilla permits. Dinner and overnight at the Buhoma Guest Lodge, The following morning the experienced trackers and guides join you for your gorilla track into the forest to visit one of the habituated groups. Sometimes you strain to locate the gorilla as they may located much inside from the camp. On both nights you will stay on a full board basis the Buhoma Guest Lodge,
both close to Bwindi Park Head Quarter. But you will be tracking the gorillas in Rwanda, the accommodation has to be at Rhungeri Town.

Day 5: Bwindi or PNV
After breakfast if time allows you, you will take a second gorilla track or take a forest walk before driving to kabale dinner and overnight Lake Bunyoni in a tented camp.

Days 6-7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast we drive to the Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel,
here you will see thousands of hippos and crocodiles. Two nights are spent at the excellently positioned Mweya Lodge on fullboard basis: the lodge overlooks Lake Edward, where hippo's graze on the lawns at night.
After Breakfast we drive through the park where you can opt to go chimpanzee tracking in the Chamburu Gorge.

Day 8: Return to Entebbe
We will spend the day traveling back to Entebbe via the markets in Kampala. There will also be a chance to stop for a photograph at the equator crossing.
Spend the night at the Lake Victoria Hotel on a full board.

Day 9: Entebbe
After breakfast you can take your flight back home of carry on with the next destination of your
holidays.
